PubKit E1.0 for MODX Evo is on its way

I thought it would be April, then May, then October, but now it looks like November is a realistic date for release of a major upgrade to PubKit, my front-end editor for news, blogs, events lists and custom-table based items in MODX Evo.

Uncomfortable upgrade

22 Apr 10

Upgrade to MODx 1.0.3 didn't quite make it

I've been using MODx 1.0.3 on my PC since it came out. I've also been working on getting PubKit proper (not just the blog part) fit to publish. So I thought I'd upgrade Pogwatch before setting up PubKit for its blogging tool and documenting it here.

pkBlog loses dependence on PHx

20 Sep 09

pkBlog 1.4 is now available, with no need for PHx on your site

Pogwatch gets upgrade to Evolution (MODx 1.0)

Wordpress

10 Jul 09 ,

Oh the horror of Wordpress coding now MODx is here!

I have to admit it: the best-looking site I have built was done with Wordpress. I wasn't very familiar with MODx at that time, and in any case Wordpress was already established for the site. But today I had to fix a problem. And it took over an hour to track it down.
